LAS VEGAS, NV — The SEMA Show kicks off with the New Product Awards Breakfast, where awards are handed out to companies with the most innovative and cutting-edge automotive aftermarket products in 16 different award categories.
According to SEMA, more than 1,300 products were entered into those categories this year. Winners were selected based on a variety of factors that included superiority of innovation, technical achievement, quality and workmanship, consumer appeal and marketability, and more. Two runners-up were also announced (we found this particularly interesting in the street performance category).
