When Ford unleashed its sixth-generation Bronco a few years back, it quickly became one of the hottest new vehicles in the gearhead universe—and we knew it was only a matter of time before the gang at Summit Racing got their hands on one.
And now, that time has come.
For its Ford Bronco build series, the Summit Racing folks are taking a stock 2022 Bronco and giving it some key upgrades to make it an even more versatile off-roader—and it’s staying street legal. Better yet, they’re doing it as an homage to the Mexican 1,000-winning 1969 Bronco driven by legendary racer Rod Hall.
In this quick introductory video, you’ll meet the 2022 Ford Bronco and get a quick synopsis of the build plan. Even better, you’ll get a good look at Rod Hall’s original 1969 Ford Bronco that inspired the entire project.
