It’s no secret that forced induction is a good way to make big power, but like any engine build, you’ve got to sweat the details. That’s why it’s so important to pick the right components when designing your turbocharged system—and that goes way beyond just picking the turbo.

To make that process a bit easier, Summit Racing’s got a Wastegate and Blow-Off Valve designed to stand up to the rigors of high-performance turbocharging, whether it’s on the street or the track.

For starters, Summit Racing’s Wastegate is made from cast stainless steel and anodized aluminum for both durability and corrosion resistance, which is vital given its proximity to exhaust gasses and intense heat cycling. It includes easily swappable springs for 7 and 14 psi, and will fit a 50mm exhaust flange. Even better, Summit Racing tosses in a V-band clamp and vacuum fittings too.

Then, Summit Racing’s Blow-Off Valve makes a good complement to its wastegate. Made from machined aluminum, the BOV is adjustable from 0 to 50 psi so it’s suitable for a wide range of turbo motors. It features a 50mm flange as well and, just like its wastegate, Summit Racing will toss in a V-band clamp, plus the vacuum fittings you’ll need to get it installed.

All told, this wastegate/blow-off valve combo will work great (and look great) in plenty of custom turbo setups, especially if you’re already running one of Summit Racing’s turbochargers.
