By now, you may have already heard about the self-tuning FiTech Go Street EFI (or other FiTech fuel-injection systems) as being the aftermarket’s most-affordable alternative to carburetors.

Depending on your application, you may find a FiTech system that fits your wants and needs for about the same price as a new carb. Which is why these units have proven to be so popular since their introduction.

In this video from Summit Racing, tech adviser Carl Pritts will walk you through some of the finer points of FiTech’s Go Street EFI system, which is designed for applications up to 400 horsepower.

The unit bolts on with hand tools, which you can see in this FiTech installation video. What you’ll need to think about when transitioning from carburetion to a FiTech EFI are things like your throttle cable brackets, which clean air assembly designs will fit, and what your fuel system requirements will be.

This particular FiTech system is not built for power adders or high-horsepower applications, but Pritts promises more FiTech overview videos on the higher power-capacity systems in the future.
