Look, we’re big, big fans of the Dodge Power Wagon around here.
But if we’re being honest, our budget…and our significant others…aren’t exactly prepared for us to cram another ride in the driveway—particularly one with similar dimensions to an M1 Abrams.
Luckily, Axial’s given us a suitable alternative with its Dodge Power Wagon 1:24 Scale RC trucks.
Available either in high-vis orange or nifty throwback forest service livery, these ready-to-run, radio controlled trucks let you rumble down the trails and crash through the brush just like the real thing, only you won’t have to worry about oil drips in the driveway or a less-than-thrilled spouse.
Each Power Wagon RC truck is superbly detailed, right down to their oversized Super Swamper tires. Look closer and you’ll see a legit four-link rear suspension out back, with a three-link up front. These Power Wagons boast full-time four-wheel drive, along with steel axles and other heavy duty parts—easily durable enough to conquer the shaggiest of shag carpeting.
Better still, the trucks come with an optional bed accessory rack with traction boards, in case you get hung-up on a gym shoe or stuck in some mulch.
Speaking of what’s included, you get the truck, the bed rack, rechargeable LiPo battery pack, and the controller, so it’s pretty much ready to go out of the box.
