Starting with an already-capable Jeep Wrangler Rubicon JL, the Summit Racing folks sought to improve its off-road performance without losing any of the Wrangler’s day-to-day practicality.

After all, many of us don’t have room for a second, dedicated trail rig, which means we have to daily-drive our off-roaders.

Though the Summit Racing team already tackled some headlight and taillight upgrades in an earlier installment, now the attention turns to supplemental LED light pods front and rear, plus a big pair of AEV Conversions 7000 series off-road lights. The Wrangler gets an LED light bar from Rigid Industries up front too.

You’ll also get a good look at the nifty Garmin PowerSwitch that controls it all.

Check it all out in this update, then stick around for more installments as the Project Jeep Wrangler build series begins to wrap up.
