If you’ve caught any of the earlier installments in Summit Racing’s Project Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited Rubicon build series, you’ve seen its tech team make some sensible off-road upgrades—ones that won’t compromise the Wrangler’s daily-driver practicality.

And in this video, the Jeep Wrangler is getting a tough off-road bumper and winch installed.

It starts with bolting up an AEV Conversions RX Front Bumper. Not only does this bumper add some much-welcome protection up front, it provides a great spot to mount the Warn VR EVO 10-S Winch and auxiliary off-road lights. And in sticking with the overall theme of the project, this bumper adds plenty of tire clearance, without being too big and bulky to prevent the Wrangler from fitting into an ordinary parking spot.

Speaking of winch, the team went with the EVO 10-S from Warn because it’s got a stout 10,000 pound pull rating, yet features a low profile design that allows it to snug nicely behind the new bumper.

See it all get installed in this episode below, then stick around because the party moves out back in the next video.
