NHRA racing blasted into zMax dragway near Charlotte, North Carolina for the second time this season, following the NGK NTK NHRA Four-Wide Nationals back in May. That earlier race was noteworthy as rookie Dallas Glenn notched his first Pro Stock victory of his career. Would fortune favor another up-and-coming racer this time around? If you read the headline, you probably already know, so let’s not waste any time getting to the recaps in this week’s NHRA Wrap-Up.

It was an all-KB Racing final in Pro Stock as Kyle Koretsky squared up against veteran racer and teammate Greg Anderson. Anderson is one win away from breaking the tie with Warren Johnson, making him the winningest Pro Stock NHRA driver of all time. But he’ll have to wait for the next race, as Kyle Koretsky notched the first Pro Stock victory of his career with a razor-thin victory: 6.629-seconds at 207.27 mph, compared to Anderson’s 6.639/208.20.
