The 2020 Summit Racing Show Car Series premier event (with apologies to all of the other great shows on the calendar) took place this past weekend in Detroit, MI, where the Great 8 Ridler finalists were unveiled, and the Ridler Award winner was crowned.
But the Detroit Autorama isn’t great just because of the Ridler Award, which is widely considered the most prestigious award in custom car building.
There were hundreds of amazing custom cars on display, and fortunately for us, our friends at Championship Auto Shows do an amazing job of photographing so many for those who can’t be there.

As a Chevelle fan, the 1970 models in particular, you could normally guess which car would be my favorite. However, I prefer MY Chevelles in Tuxedo Black. I wouldn’t kick a red one out of my garage though! With that said, I can’t come anywhere near picking a favorite out of all these vehicles! They’re all just flat out beautiful! I’d honestly like the details on that black one that I believe started out as a Volkswagen Beetle.
Wow, such a fantastic post with beautiful pics and share the great detail. This is my first visit to your blog. I like your article. I want to read more about your blog.
Thank for sharing an amazing post.
Have a great weekend.
