The Dream Team’s SN95 Ford Mustang was nearly destroyed, and both Team Bigun’s Ford Granada wagon and Team Enemies Everywhere’s Gen. 4 Camaro were damaged by a freak fire that started on the car hauler transporting the vehicles from the West Coast to Georgia.
The drag race to determine the winner of the 2019 $10K Drag Shootout is being postponed until next February to give teams time to repair their cars.
Brake failure on the hauler is believed to be the cause of the fire.
Only Team Midwest Mayhem’s Oldsmobile Cutlass came away from the fire unscathed.
