Edelbrock showed off a lineup of new products at last week’s SEMA Show. Among the most talked-about at the show were the new Jeep 4.0L cylinder head and dual-quad HEMI intake manifold. Here’s an overview at these new items:

Designed as a bolt-on upgrade for 1991-2006 Jeeps with a 4.0L inline six engine, this head will also fit 1987-90 engines when used with a 1991-2006 intake manifold and exhaust header. It features better-flowing intake/exhaust ports with a more modern combustion chamber design and backcut and swirl polished valves. It retains the stock valve angle, pushrod length, and valve cover bolt pattern for use with factory components and off-the-shelf accessories. It also has reinforced rocker bosses and Heli-Coil threaded inserts in the intake manifold bolt holes for added strength.

In addition, this Performer cylinder head is pending 50-state emissions legality.

Edelbrock designed this single-plane Air-Gap manifold for use on Gen II 426-572 HEMI engines. Its made to deliver performance gains in the 2,500 to 6,500-plus rpm range while utilizing the same carb spacing and height as the Mopar Performance dual-quad. That makes it a direct bolt-on upgrade to all vehicles with a Shaker hood.
