Lot Shots Find of the Week: 1965 Ford Falcon

A parking lot is a parking lot is a parking lot—unless it’s the Summit Racing parking lot. On any given day or time, the lot outside a Summit Racing store can turn into an impromptu mini car show, depending on who’s stopped by the store. Each Wednesday, we’ll share our parking lot find of the week—another benefit of being Powered by Summit Racing Equipment.

It’s remarkable to think about how many outstanding automobiles came out of the 1960s. It borders on being nonsensical. Name another industry where the lion’s share of the best-designed stuff came 50 years ago.

Yet, here we are in 2012, mesmerized still by the stunning lines of these five-decade-old classics.

Enter the venerable 1965 Ford Falcon. It looks at home on the street or the track, and even as a trailer queen.

And in this case, this fine machine looked right at home outside of the Summit Racing retail store in Ohio.
