Reno, Nevada – The annual Hot August Nights classic car and hot rod show is a weeklong celebration of vintage automobiles. From 1960s muscle cars to prewar roadsters, the event is a nostalgic trip down the highways and byways of yesteryear.

And since it goes down in the backyard of the Summit Racing Retail Store in nearby Sparks, Nevada, it means Hot August Nights is something that’s perpetually circled on our event calendar.

In fact, Summit Racing sent its social media ace Katie Rockman to cover the show, and she just gifted us a massive batch of photos from some of the marquee Hot August Nights events in and around the Reno/Sparks/Tahoe region. Take a virtual stroll through the photo gallery below, and if this sounds like the sort of shindig you’d like to attend next year, visit the official Hot August Nights website and start making plans to be here.
