Reno, Nevada –  For over a week, the annual Hot August Nights classic car and hot rod show pretty much takes over the entire Reno/Sparks/Tahoe region. (Yes, it’s that big.)

In fact, the event grew so much, that it actually returned to The University of Nevada, Reno campus—a massive, welcoming venue that used to host Hot August Nights way back in the 1980s.

The location held plenty of activities, and intrepid Summit Racing photographer and social media maven Katie Rockman was there to capture it all on film…err….pixels.

After that, she headed downtown for a stroll of the main drag in Reno.

Check out the photo gallery she sent us—and if you want to see this show firsthand, visit the official Hot August Nights website and keep an eye on the Summit Racing event calendar to get the details on the 2026 event, once they are released.
