Las Vegas, NevadaBluePrint Engines grabbed a coveted New Product Award at the 2025 SEMA Show—and all it took was creating a complete state-of-the-art drop-in engine/transmission combo.

All kidding aside, BluePrint brought the goods in the form of a 376 cubic inch LS-compatible engine paired with a ZF-sourced eight-speed automatic.

These BluePrint 376 engine/transmission combos feature a brand new, LS3-inspired engine with new block, rotating assembly, and cylinder heads. The ZF transmission is all new too, sourced directly from ZF (the folks who helped develop the GM 8L transmission found behind many LS engines from the factory).

But the biggest benefit here is that, in the age of fancy electronic transmission control, you don’t have to worry about the engine and transmission playing nice together. BluePrint and ZF did all that work for you, and the setup includes an integrated transmission controller discretely located on the engine itself—heck, BluePrint even includes the console shifter handle for you.
