Putting an elaborate lighting system in your vehicle? The install can get tricky with each additional light array you hook up. More importantly, routing all those wires around your engine bay, through the firewall, and up into your dash can be cumbersome—and then you have to contend with stuffing in the fuse block and switch panel you’ll need to operate your lights safely.

That’s why the remote-mount wireless Oracle Trigger System is so darn appealing.

At the heart of the Trigger system is a control module that fits under your hood. It features a series of individually switched and fused circuits. Each circuit is controlled wirelessly—either by the remote-mounted cordless switch panel installed in the cabin, an RF key fob, or through Oracle’s free Trigger app on your smartphone.

That means you don’t have to drill holes in your firewall for the wires or hack up your dash to accommodate a bunch of individually-wired switches. And you can control your lights even when you’re away from the vehicle.

That’s a win-win in our book.

The control module mounts under the hood and that’s where you attach each accessory lighting circuit—the system can accommodate both 12 and 24 volt circuits.

Intuitive LEDs alert you to which circuits are energized and, more importantly, can indicate a blown fuse.

The box itself is intended for rugged use and is fully sealed against the elements. It’s been tested rigorously in extreme temperatures. The box incorporates mounting tabs for custom installs or, for certain popular models, Oracle offers vehicle-specific controller mounting brackets to make the job even easier.

Let’s talk about the battery powered switch panel too. It’s essentially a robust wireless remote control with super stout rocker switches.

There are no wires to install and, thanks to a strong magnet, the whole panel can be pulled out and stuffed in your pocket. Oracle even makes a wide range of vehicle-specific mounting solutions for the controller so, in most cases, you won’t have to drill or cut your dash or trim to install the panel—which if you’re playing along at home, also makes it easy to remove if you ever decide to sell your vehicle later on.

The Oracle Trigger System comes in two basic flavors, depending on how many circuits you need. But! Oracle tells us that you can link several Trigger modules together to control up to 24 different circuits.

In addition to the universal system, click the links below and you’ll also see some vehicle-specific mounting kits that include specialized mounting solutions for popular off-road models like the Jeep Wrangler JK/JL, Jeep Gladiator, Ford Bronco, and Toyota Tacoma.
