Cleves, Ohio – Nestled on the banks of the Great Miami River and surrounded by lush trees providing plenty of shade, Edgewater Sports Park is a gem in the Queen City’s racing crown.
Admittedly we’re a bit biased, as it’s located near the OnAllCylinders southwest Ohio field office and one of our long-time haunts—but the welcoming crowd, parklike setting, and always-great racing is a fantastic way to spend a day.
And it was doubly-so this past weekend, where the Edgewater folks hosted a nostalgic Muscle Car Day with a classic car show and plenty of 1/8 and 1/4 mile racing, including a “throwback” race which prohibited the use of delay boxes, crosstalk, and other aftermarket electronic racing aids.
Suffice it to say, there was plenty to like and we brought our camera along to show you. Check out the pics below—and if this looks fun, visit your local track to experience drag racing in person!
