The folks at Summit Racing decided to take a stock Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon and upgrade it to tackle much more serious terrain, albeit with one big catch—they didn’t want to upset its balance of daily-driver practicality and off-road capability.

In other words, the Wrangler has to make it home safely after a weekend on the trails, then turn around and handle a weekday commute. That means adding some critical body armor and belly pans from companies like Artec Industries and AEV Conversions.
