Tesla Reveals New Semi Truck and Roadster Models

Tesla announced its plans to build an electric semi truck that can go from zero to 60 mph in 20 seconds while pulling an 80,000 pound load. More importantly, Tesla expects to start building them in 2019. And if you think that’s big news, during the same event, Tesla pulled the wraps off its newest Roadster hypercar. It’s expected to have eyeball-stretching acceleration and a 250-mph top speed.

Dick Landy made drag racing history when he took fresh-from-the-factory Mopars and pushed their wheels forward. The end result was “altered wheelbase” coupes, which became the earliest form of Funny Cars. This particular car is going up for sale soon, so you still have time to buy a piece of hot rod history.

Brittany Force Wins Top Fuel Crown; First Female Champ Since Muldowney in ’82

Not only did Brittany Force’s win make her the first woman in several decades to win a NHRA Top Fuel championship, it was also the first Top Fuel championship for the John Force Racing team. Her championship capped off an incredible home-stretch run, in which she climbed from sixth to first in the points standings.
