CMB-29-0012Summit Racing Vehicle Tie-Down and Axle Strap Performance Combo

Summit Racing offers an exclusive, all-in-one solution for securing your vehicle to a trailer. Its handy, affordable Vehicle Tie-Down and Axle Strap Performance Combo has everything you need to trailer your ride.

The kit includes a set of four Summit Racing Vehicle Tie-Downs. These straps are 2 inches wide and 8 feet long, which means they’ll work with most vehicles. The tie-downs ratchet-tight and have a break strength of 10,000 pounds (the straps’ working load is about 3,000 pounds). A set of clevis hooks on either end makes it easy to secure the straps to your trailer’s D-rings or other mounting points.

The kit also comes with four axle straps. Each strap has a durable sleeve to protect both the strap and the finish on the axle tube. The straps are about 22 inches long and have metal loops on each end for attaching the tie-downs. The straps feature a 5,000 pound break strength and will easily handle 1,600 pound working loads.

This combo comes bundled in a handy Summit Racing Tool Bag, with extra pockets for other bits of trailer gear.

BTI-RR-TR-6_inuRace Ramps Trailer Ramps

Loading a lowered vehicle or long-nosed dragster onto a trailer can be a harrowing experience. Race Ramps Trailer Ramps mitigate the headache by decreasing the trailer’s approach angle to as little as four degrees. They’re an absolute must-have for vehicles with an exceptionally low ride height or a low front lip spoiler. Sturdy and lightweight, the ramps are made from foam material similar to that used on the Space Shuttle.

Race Ramps Trailer Ramps are available from 45 to 74 inches long, and from four to seven inches high. Approach angles range from four to eight degrees depending on model. All ramps are 14 inches wide and will handle vehicles up to 6,000 pounds. These ramps feature a one-piece design and are sold in pairs.

MTD-700007_cpMac’s Net Drag Packs and Chassis Stabilizers

Potholes, sudden stops, speed bumps — a lot can happen on the way to the track. Mac’s offers tie-down solutions that ensure your race car stays put during transport.

Mac’s Chassis Stabilizers limit unwanted chassis flex caused by a bouncing trailer. After loading your dragster, simply slide the stabilizer under the most flexible point of the chassis and inflate. The stabilizer will support some of the weight of the racecar and minimize the vibration, bounce, and shock caused by rough roads. Mac’s makes an 18 inch round and 24 inch x 8 inch stabilizer. They can be inflated from 15 to 20 psi and come complete with a hose kit and gate valve.

Designed specifically to fit large drag slicks, Mac’s Rear Net Drag Packs wrap tightly around each rear wheel and secure to floor mounted D-rings to prevent the dragster from moving on the trailer. Rear Net Drag Packs will fit 14- to 30-inch wide rear wheels. Mac’s also makes Front Net Drag Packs to secure the front wheels. They’re functionally identical to Rear Net Drag Packs, yet are sized for a racecar’s narrow profile front wheels. Each Drag Pack consists of recessed D-rings with backing plates and a pair of dragster nets available in black, blue, yellow, or red.
