New-Ford-GT-2-600x400

How much would you pay for the Ford GT?

Ford has announced pricing for the 600-horse, twin-turbocharged supercar, and it ain’t cheap. Unless you’re lucky enough to think $400,000 is cheap.

Dave Pericak, director of Ford Perfomance, confirmed the GT will sell for right around $400,000, putting it on-par with the likes of the Lamborghini Aventador. Pericak also said only about 250 Ford GTs will be made each year, making it that much less likely you’ll see one sitting in your neighbor’s driveway.

In case you missed the original announcement, the all-new Ford GT will feature a twin-turbocharged 3.5L EcoBoost V6, carbon fiber body panels, aluminum subframe, and carbon fiber wheels. That, according to Ford officials, will give it one of the best power-to-weight ratios of any production car.
