The Force is strong with Chevrolet.

John Force Racing has signed a multi-year deal to race Chevrolet Camaro Funny Cars, making Chevy the manufacturer of record for the 16-time NHRA champion, his two daughters—Courtney Force in Funny Car and Brittany Force in Top Fuel—and son-in-law Robert Hight in Funny Car.

There are no other Chevy-branded Nitro Funny Cars in NHRA, so John Force Racing will carry the brand alone.

Both Castrol Oil (which had sponsored Force for 30 years) and Ford ended their sponsorships of John Force in order to invest money in other areas of motorsports.

PEAK, a maker of motor oil and antifreeze, is now the main sponsor of Force’s Funny Car.

“It is great to be back with Chevrolet,” Force said. “I started my career in a Chevy and my plan is to keep racing with them for many years to come. This is a great American company, and we are excited about the opportunities in front of us.”
