It’s beginning to look a lot like summer at Summit Racing.

The annual weekend of hot rods, customs, technical advice from more than 100 performance-product manufacturers, celebrity appearances, and a monster truckload of fun is back.

Super Summit South at the Summit Racing Retail Store in McDonough, GA, near Atlanta, is slated for Saturday, April 21 from 9 am-5 pm. Retail store sales will be going on all weekend long.

If you live in the Southeast and have the time and inclination, you owe it to yourself to get to this thing. It’s money. We mean that on several levels.

If you can’t make it, we’ll do our best to update you with photos and a recap next week. Be sure to visit Summit Racing’s Facebook page throughout the weekend for great car photos from the event.

If you can get there, here’s why you should:

  • Free admission
  • Special prices on parts at the Retail Super Store
  • Savings on exclusive offers and rebates from select manufacturers in the Manufacturer Midway
  • Meet NHRA Pro Stock champions Jason Line and Greg Anderson
  • Visit the Summit Racing Power Experience simulator
  • See the Summit Racing BIGFOOT® monster truck
