Las Vegas, Nevada – After our experience with the Ram Revamp project, we’re big fans of the Cummins 6.7L diesel. But if there’s one Achilles Heel with the trusty engine (and some other Cummins inline sixes too), it’s the exhaust manifold—after a few years and 100K+ hard miles, the stock manifold has a tendency to crack and leak.
So when the BD Diesel folks showed off an improved version of the 6.7L Cummins exhaust manifold for 2019-24 Ram trucks at the 2025 SEMA Show, our ears perked up.

Intended to be as much of an upgrade as a replacement, this new manifold boasts a thicker wall casting for strength, along with a slip-joint center section that allows for natural expansion and contraction with each heat cycle.
If you’re playing along at home, both of those features significantly reduce the risk of cracks developing in the future.
As an added bonus, BD Diesel uses a “divided pulse” manifold design, which optimizes exhaust flow by harnessing the engine’s natural exhaust pulses for smoother operation and drivability.
And yes, this manifold is fully emissions-compliant*, and comes pre-drilled with an EGT probe port for easy monitoring.
* This product has met EPA’s reasonable basis requirements and is legal for sale and use within the jurisdiction of the federal EPA.

BD Diesel will offer this manifold as both a standalone kit with gaskets and hardware (BDD-1046069) or as an individual part (BDD-1045969). The manifold will join BD Diesel’s already impressive lineup of replacement exhaust manifolds for popular diesel engines.
