Las Vegas, Nevada – If you were into off-roading during the 1980s, you know that there was one tire that completed *the* look on a lifted truck or SUV:

The Mickey Thompson Baja Belted II

But the beloved tire has been off the market for years…until now of course, as the Mickey Thompson folks used the 2025 SEMA Show to announce that the Baja Belted II is poised to return in 2026!

Better yet, Mickey Thompson says it’ll come in wide fitments for both 15 and 16 inch wheels, along with 17 inch sizes if you’re running a large disc brake setup. Heck, Mickey Thompson offers these tires with up to 30 inch sizing.

And these tires are dang-near identical to the O.G. Baja Belted IIs that rumbled onto the scene all those years ago—complete with the raised white lettering and delightful NDT pattern that’s a hallmark of the Baja Belted II line.

The only catch is…you’ve got to wait for them. Mickey Thompson tells us these wheels won’t be available until 2026. Until then…
