Las Vegas, Nevada – It’s tough to get noticed in the aftermarket off-road wheel segment nowadays—there are just so many top-tier options to choose from.

But since it took home a coveted New Product Award ribbon at the 2025 SEMA Show last week, the Method 709-HD Wheel showed it could rise above the rest.

And you know what? It’s pretty easy to see why. The new 709-HD wheel mixes strength and durability in a good-looking, subdued package.

Lest you think these wheels are all-show, no-go, the 709-HD boasts ultra heavy-duty load ratings across all applications, and incorporates what Method calls “Bead Grip” technology—which keeps the tire secure even when aired down to low pressure for more grip on the trail.

Better still, the 709-HD can be used with a new Forged Impact Ring, which bolts on the rim to deliver extra protection on the wheel lip.

The impact rings are optional and sold separately. They install with stout 12-point hardware and come in a blue, red, black, or raw machined finish. The rings are offered in 17, 18, and 20 inch diameters and—note—are exclusive to the 709-HD series wheels and won’t fit any other rim currently offered by Method..

Oh, speaking of Impact Rings, that product was a Runner-Up in the “Best New Wheel & Related Display” category too.

Suffice it to say, the gang at Method must be feeling awfully good about themselves.

…Get a set of 709-HD wheels for your 4×4, and you probably will too.
