A Summit Racing Pro Pack is a parts combo assembled by the automotive performance experts on Summit Racing’s tech team. Each part is proven to perfectly complement the other components in the Pro Pack—you won’t have any surprises when it’s time to install your parts and hit the road.
An engine needs three basic things to run—air, fuel, and spark. Miss one of them and it’s no bueno.
A Summit Racing Fuel Pump and Regulator Pro Pack will help you with the fuel part of the equation. You get a high-quality fuel pump plus an adjustable fuel pressure regulator to fine-tune fuel delivery. These Pro Packs are intended for carbureted engines.
Pro Packs with Mechanical Fuel Pump
Available for small block Chevy, big block Chevy, and small block Ford, these Pro Packs come with a Holley Street Performance pump rated at 130 GPH of fuel flow and 7.5 to 9 PSI of fuel pressure. The pump bodies can be rotated 360 degrees to accommodate fuel line routing. The Holley pump is for gasoline only.
You also get a Holley fuel pressure regulator that is adjustable from 4.5 to 9 PSI to help you find the sweet fuel pressure spot for your carbureted engine. It has a mounting bracket so you can put it wherever it fits best.
Pro Packs with External-Mount Electric Fuel Pump
These Pro Packs come with your choice of fuel pumps. All include an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and a 30- or 40-amp relay depending on the pump selected:
• Summit Racing pump with a 105 or 140 GPH free-flow rate
• Holley ‘Blue’ pump with a 110 GPH free-flow rate
• Holley ‘Black’ fuel pump with a 140 GPH free-flow rate
• Aeromotive Street/Strip fuel pump with a 140 or 150 GPH free-flow rate.
The 150 GPH Aeromotive pump comes with a regulator that has two pressure springs—3-20 PSI and 20-65 PSI—so you can use it with a carb or EFI.
Having the ability to adjust fuel pressure isn’t worth a darn without an in-line mechanical gauge to monitor that pressure. Summit Racing has a big selection of gauges from Aeromotive, Earl’s, Holley, Mr. Gasket, and other manufacturers as well as its own brand of gauges.
