Home to the NHRA Mile High Nationals, drag race fans across the country were saddened to hear about the impending closure of Bandimere Speedway—but it wasn’t all bad news, as the owners plan to relocate the track.

September 19, 2023 – Heartland Motorsports Park in Topeka, Kansas Closing After 2023

The summer of 2023 was bookended by disappointing news for drag racers. First Bandimere in April and, a few months later, Heartland Motorsports Park announced it was closing its doors too.
