Las Vegas, Nevada – We’re big fans of Evapo-Rust around here—hence why we wrote this article a while back:

Does That Evapo-Rust Rust Remover Stuff Really Work?

But as safe and effective Evapo-Rust is at removing pesky surface corrosion, there is one big drawback: Since it’s a liquid, it means that you usually have to submerge that rusty part in a bath of the stuff to ensure it works.

…Which is obviously pretty difficult when talking about something big or oddly-shaped like a bumper, fender trim, or a taillight bezel.

That’s why when we spotted the new Evapo-Rust in gel form at the 2025 SEMA Show, it stopped us cold in our tracks.

It’s the same formulation of the classic Evapo-Rust stuff, only in gooey, sticky gel form.

That means you can slather it on a vertical surface and it’ll stay put—working its rust-eating magic as it clings to upright (or even upside down) surfaces.

That simple chemistry tweak opens up a massive new scope of possibilities for Evapo-Rust, and we’re sure it’ll quickly find a home with the vehicle restoration and repair crowds.

Read that earlier article we linked to above to learn exactly how it works, and you can find the Evapo-Rust gel for sale here.
