As members of the Summit Racing team begin to touch down in Las Vegas, Nevada for another SEMA Show, we’re taking a sneak peek at some new products being showcased at the event. And considering we’ll never miss a chance to talk about the Fox Body Mustang, our eyes went straight to a new adjustable front sway bar from the suspension superstars over at RideTech.

As part of the RideTech MuscleBar sway bar lineup, this new anti-roll bar is precision CNC machined to exact tolerances, so you’ll get proven, predictable performance and zero fitment headaches. Through a well thought-out design, RideTech ensures excellent wheel/tire clearance from this sway bar too.

While RideTech made this bar to complement its new “Short-Long Arm” SLA front suspension system and Fox Body IRS assembly, it’s fully compatible with the Fox’s stock front suspension and works equally well as a standalone suspension upgrade.

And did we mention it’s adjustable? The folks at RideTech say that the bar can be set at one of three different levels, so you’re able to perfectly tune vehicle balance and turn-in:

  • 2,200 lb./in
  • 1,600 lb./in
  • 1,350 lb./in

(If you’re playing along at home, the stock rate for the Ford Mustang GT front bar is 1,083 lb./in.)

In fact, RideTech developed this bar on its own Fox Body race car test mule…err…horse to deliver performance that’s equally suitable for the track, autocross course, or commute grind.

The sway bar kit comes with all the stuff you’ll need for installation, including the mounts, low friction/low noise bushings, billet aluminum mounts, adjustable end links, and hardware.
