It’s always an enjoyable experience talking with owners of classic cars, but just occasionally it feels like “a major award.”

That’s what it was like sitting down for a conversation with Brian Jones, owner of the original A Christmas Story House & Museum in Cleveland, Ohio, along with one of the classic holiday film’s more iconic props—an Oldsmobile F-Series Touring Sedan.

While not the exact 1937 Olds driven by Ralphie Parker’s father, this 1938 model still made an appearance in the film and comes with an interesting history of its own.
