Flaring the end of a line is an essential aspect of making custom brake and fuel lines to accept proper fittings. There are a few ways to make flares on custom brake and fuel lines, but using a turret-style line flaring tool is one of our favorites, because it’s a foolproof way to make clean, consistent flares on your brake and fuel lines.

Summit Racing’s professional flaring tool is the perfect option. It enables you to conquer a variety of different plumbing jobs—including brake lines, transmission cooler lines, and fuel lines. Its ‘turret-style’ design allows you to make precision flares in record time, and it can be used with 3/16 in., 1/4 in., 5/16 in., and 3/8 in. diameter lines. All of the brake-flaring forming dies are mounted right on the turret, so there’s no fumbling around for small parts or worry about missing dies. It allows you to easily form 37 or 45 degree double, single, and bubble flares in OE steel, stainless steel, and soft metal tubing.
