LAS VEGAS, NV — Knoxville, TN-based Lokar Performance Products Inc. will acquire Lecarra Steering Wheels, adding top-quality, American-made full-wrap steering wheels to its expanding product portfolio.

Company officials confirmed the news when we visited the Lokar booth at the 2019 SEMA Show.

In addition to the new Lecarra steering wheels line, Lokar also unveiled a new line of billet aluminum accessories at SEMA, as well as an incredibly cool new LS Classic Series line which brings a period-correct 1957 and 1962 fuel injection look to LS-swapped engine builds in classic cars.

The acquisition will be finalized in the near future, but Lokar is already bringing the steering wheels to market as “Lecarra Steering Wheels by Lokar.”

Lecarra had been struggling to keep up with demand for its popular steering wheels, said Joe Rode, Lokar’s national sales manager in an interview at SEMA. Lokar’s poised to help fill that demand.

“With our production capabilities, we’ll be able to better supply Lecarra products to the market,” Rode said.

Lecarra is a leader in aftermarket steering wheels, with a ton of designs and customization options for virtually any vehicle.
