If you weren’t already aware, it’s a bit chilly outside right now.

Who are we kidding—of course you’re aware. If you’re reading this it means you have Internet access, which means that you—like us—likely have been bombarded with news of the coldest arctic outbreak in a generation currently impacting millions across the U.S. In fact, several areas are expected to see wind chill temperatures this week falling below 50 degrees.

Extreme cold and vehicles don’t mix. Subzero temperatures can lead to a number of problems, including deflated tires, battery issues, ice buildup in the fuel line, cracking serpentine belts, and more. As awful as those things sound, extreme cold is even more dangerous to the human body.

When temperatures become so cold that nearly instant frostbite is possible, the last thing you want is to find yourself stranded on the side of the highway without a means of staying warm. Fortunately, our friends at Summit Racing offer a range of useful products to ensure that doesn’t happen. Here are some of our favorites.
