LAS VEGAS, NV — Many Wheel Vintiques products are geared toward traditional hot rods, including the Gennie, the Artillery, and others. A new design will offer yet another steel wheel option for traditional hot rodders searching for a distinct vintage appearance.

The new “Jumbo” wheel is a tribute to one of the earliest aftermarket wheel designs, which was intended to replace original wire wheels. The design was offered in the 1930s and 1940s, and it replicates the look of a wooden spoke wheel. The all steel construction offers strength, while the early “Artillery” design offers the perfect amount of style for a vintage hot rod.

Wheel Vintiques offers the Jumbo wheel in 16-inch sizes, which is perfect for pre-WWII hot rods. With widths ranging from 4.5 to 8-inches, the new Jumbo wheel has plenty of adaptability for big-and-little combinations. The Jumbo wheel features a 5×5.5-inch bolt pattern for early Fords.
The new Jumbo wheel is available with several finish options, including primer, chrome plating, and custom powder coating. The wheels are made in the USA, utilizing precision tooling and a 600-ton hydraulic press.
This makes for clean lines when the seven-gauge steel center sections are stamped, and precise jigs make for a perfectly true wheel as the center and hoop are welded together. The new Jumbo wheel will be available in early 2018.
