A sunny Saturday turned hazy quickly at Super Summit 2017—at least near the famed dragstrip at Summit Motorsports Park.
That’s because Super Summit 2017 is no ordinary car show.
There’s not a lot of sitting around for the participants or the vehicles. In addition to BIGFOOT Monster Truck car-crushing demonstrations, an Autocross, and Manufacturer Midway, there are fun runs down the dragstrip.
And these proved to be immensely popular as tire smoke and the smell of burnt rubber added to the festive atmosphere of the day.
Of course, you did have the option of hanging out in the show car field to peruse some of the nicest cars and trucks in the Midwest. That’s where we captured this gallery.
