Good news, Mopar fans!

The folks at Edelbrock have joined the Gen. III HEMI party with the introduction of their Performer RPM cylinder heads for Chrysler’s Gen. III HEMI engines.

And not a moment too soon.

Up to this point, Gen. III HEMI owners were pretty much left to work with the factory castings, but Edelbrock’s latest offering finally provides a viable off-the-shelf aftermarket option for modern 5.7L, 6.1L and 6.4L HEMIs. According to Edelbrock, dyno testing has shown a 25 horsepower increase over the stock heads. The increased airflow and power is achieved through a combination of CNC combustion chambers and CNC-profiled intake and exhaust entries. Like other Edelbrock Performer RPM heads, the Gen. III heads maintain the stock valve angles and port locations.

A couple of other items of note: 1) The heads will bolt up to a Hellcat supercharger, and 2) The heads have extra material compared to stock, so there’s plenty of room for porting.

To complement the heads, Edelbrock also introduced a Gen. III intake manifold at the 2016 SEMA Show. The cast aluminum manifold is ported for increased airflow. It’s pre-drilled for the larger Hellcat throttle body and even comes with bosses for nitrous.
