1956 Plymouth Convertible Rare Air

LAS VEGAS, NV — The SEMA Show is as synonymous with show cars as it is new products.

And with good reason. We had the chance to take an up-close look at this rare 1956 Plymouth Convertible, which was named Goodguys Rod and Custom Association 2015 Custom Rod of the Year. The highly stylized Plymouth, owned by Gil and Janet Losi of California, was also a Detroit Autorama Great 8 finalist for the 2015 Ridler Award.

Built by Steve Cook Creations, the ’56 Plymouth is powered by an SRT8 6.1L HEMI engine. It features Axalta’s Hot Hues Burning Brick CFX Basecoat paint, and a custom interior by Gabe’s Custom Interiors.
