Originally the Shakedown at E-Town, the Shakedown at the Summit moved to Summit Motorsports in Norwalk, OH a couple years ago, and the event has taken on a personality of its own. Billed as drag racing with an attitude, where “a win on your roof is still is a win,” this one-of-a-kind event features classes, shootouts, and outrageous door car racing.

Check out a recap of the race here. Highlights include a new Outlaw Pro Mod record of 5.70 seconds at 263 miles-per-hour set by Steve Summers and his 1970 1/2 Camaro. Summit Racing’s Don Lower was at the Shakedown and captured tons of images, including some great action from the starting line.
