2015 RAM Rebel 1500

The RAM Rebel brings an off-road styling package to the RAM 1500, including a new black off-road front bumper, blacked-out Rebel grille, twin-snorkel sport hood, silver skid plate, front tow hooks, and LED fog lights. Performance updates include a 1-inch raised ride height to accommodate 33-inch tires, Bilstein front and rear shocks, softer rear stabilizer bar, and new steering calibration.

The Rebel 1500 can had with either the 3.6L Pentastar V6 or 5.7L HEMI engines. The V6 comes with a 4 x 4 drivetrain configuration; the HEMI is available in 4 x 4 and 4 x 2 options. The truck will be available for the second half of 2015. Get more details in the original press release.

2015 RAM 1500 EcoDiesel HFE

The RAM 1500 EcoDiesel HFE will deliver the highest fuel economy (HFE) among all full size trucks–12 percent higher than the next closest competitor, according to Chrysler. The RAM EcoDiesel HFE will get an EPA-certified 29 miles-per-gallon on the highway and 21 mpg in the city.

The high fuel economy comes from a variety of fuel-saving measures–none of which are mechanical in nature. The truck is based on the 2-wheel-drive RAM 1500 Quad Cab but offers improved aerodynamics and reduced drag through wheel-to-wheel side steps and a tri-fold tonneau cover.
