Larry Larson became the first person to make a five-second pass in a street-legal vehicle, making a 5.95-second pass in his 1998 Chevy S10 Pro Mod truck at the Street Car Super Nationals in Las Vegas, NV. Officially, the pass was clocked at 5.95 seconds at 244.43 miles-per-hour.
