It’s amazing what a difference two letters can make. For instance–this is a Chevrolet Chevette. And in this week’s Lot Shots, you see the Chevrolet Chevelle above.

Before the Chevette began prowling the streets, few cars oozed muscle and machismo like the Chevrolet Chevelle–especially the second-generation Chevelle.
Case in point: this 1971 Chevelle.
It’s not a highly potent SS396 or an ultra-valuable Yenko Chevelle–or even an SS. But with its distinctively Chevelle roofline and short deck, this ’71 could still be the poster child for 1960s and 70s American muscle. Check out the slide show and enjoy!
