There’s a snake in the garage!

After placing Chevrolet products in two of the first three parking spots in our Fantasy Garage, you finally added a pony to the stable: the Ford Shelby GT500 Super Snake.

And why not?

The latest version of the Shelby GT500 is heralded as the most powerful Mustang ever. It boasts a supercharged 5.8L engine that spits out an impressive 662 horsepower and 631 ft.-lbs. of pavement-chewing torque. According to Motor Trend magazine, the GT500 is hands-down faster than both the Camaro ZL and Corvette Z060—the fourth and fifth place finishers in your voting.

And the 2013 Super Snake version boosts the power numbers to 850 horsepower! Fortunately, the GT500 Super Snake now comes with an electronic launch control with adjustable rpm limiter, re-tuned suspension, reinforced axles, and improved aerodynamics. We’re not only pulling the quick-strike Super Snake into our garage, we’re also taking this opportunity to give our pad some flavor with a:  Shelby GT500 Super Snake die-cut sign, the Complete Book of Shelby Automobiles, and Carroll Shelby Memorial metal sign.

The Final Vote (Late Model Muscle)

  1. Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake
  2. Dodge Challenger SRT
  3. Ford Mustang Boss 302

Tomorrow: Pick #5 (Powersports Vehicle)
