Former Tonight Show host, longtime TV personality, and avid car enthusiast Jay Leno is in stable condition at Grossman Burn Center in Los Angeles after sustaining injuries from a gasoline fire at his shop in California.
According to CNN reports, Leno was working on one of the vehicles in his garage when it reportedly burst into flames. A statement to CNN from the burn center says Leno received burns to his face and hands but is in good spirits as he recovers.
“He is in good humor and is touched by all the inquiries into his condition and well wishes,” the statement said. “He wants to let everyone know he is doing well and is in ‘the best burn center in the United States.”
