Columbus, Ohio – A slight early-morning drizzle has given way to clear, cool weather for the first day of the weekend-long Goodguys Summit Racing Nationals Presented by PPG. It’s one of the biggest events on the Goodguys calendar and, judging from the crowds that amassed before the gates even opened this morning, folks are ready to get back to experiencing major car shows like this. (Tickets are still available, by the way.)

If you can’t make it to the show, check out coverage on Summit Racing’s Facebook page, and here are just a few of the, literal, thousands of awesome cars we saw.

Oh, check back later too, because OnAllCylinders has more articles from this event on the way.
