Troy Trepanier was named the winner of the 2017 SEMA Battle of the Builders with his 1929 Ford Model A Tudor hot-rod sedan, edging out the ’32 Ford Tudor from Alan Johnson, and the ’36 Packard roadster from Troy Ladd—the other two top-three finalists.
The three builders will be featured along with other SEMA Show builders in a new episode of “SEMA: Battle of the Builders,” which will air on Velocity Jan. 2, 2018 at 10 p.m., according to SEMA officials.
This 2017 SEMA Battle of the Builders competition had nearly 300 entries from an elite group of builders.
