Last June, Retro Manufacturing (RetroSound) introduced a new version of its Wonderbar™ radio that is compatible with SiriusXM satellite radio via a SXV300 Connect Vehicle Tuner.

The RetroSound Wonderbar radio fits in most classic vehicles that came originally equipped with a Wonderbar radio.  It’s a smart choice for vehicle owners looking for a radio that offers both vintage style and modern audio technology.

Wonderbar™ is a full-featured radio, with Made-For-iPod®/iPhone® compatibility and built-in Bluetooth® for hands-free calling and wireless audio streaming. A powerful 25 watts RMS x 4 channel amplifier is built in and RCA pre-outs (plus subwoofer output) are provided for adding external amplifiers. USB and standard auxiliary inputs allow you to connect your iPod/iPhone or USB flash drive.  Officially licensed screen protectors with General Motors logos that mimic the look of the original analogue radio dial are available separately.

At the upcoming 2017 SEMA automobile aftermarket show (October 31 – November 3), RetroSound has teamed up with SiriusXM to broadcast a live satellite radio show from its booth.

SiriusXM’s popular “80s on 8” channel will broadcast live from SEMA on Wednesday, Nov. 1 and Thursday, Nov. 2. Radio personality Alan Hunter (made famous for his time with MTV in the 1980s) will be hosting the broadcast from the RetroSound booth.

RetroSound’s booth (#24593) is located in the Restoration Marketplace, in SEMA’s Central Hall.
