LAS VEGAS, NV — The aftermarket pioneers at Edelbrock are once again blazing new trails in the high performance industry as they’ve announced the first aftermarket heads for Chevy’s Gen. V LT1/LT4 platform. In fact, they’ve developed two different versions of the cylinder heads: the Performer RPM and the Victor Jr..

The Performer RPM heads feature CNC ported chambers and flow about 330 cfm, according to Edelbrock. In addition, the runners have extra material for porting, so you have an opportunity to build in even more airflow. Other features include upgraded valvetrain hardware and .75-inch thick decks for added strength in higher horsepower power applications. All our of yfactory hardware, including the direct injection hardware, bolts right up

The Victor JR. heads are a step up from the Performer RPM heads performance-wise. The exhaust ports have been relocated to straighten the exhaust runner, and the valve angles are rolled back to 11 ½ degrees for significantly improved airflow. Edelbrock says these heads will flow a massive 375 cfm. The change to the exhaust geometry necessitates a custom header; however,  Edelbrock has worked with Kooks Custom headers to ensure  there is a header available that fits 2016 Camaros. Kooks is also working a header design for the 2016 Corvette.
