Ford Motor Co. appears to be launching a new Raptor version of the Ford Ranger pickup for model-year 2019, according to these spy-shot photos shared by SEMA.

Ford’s new 2019 Ford Ranger pickup is one of the most-anticipated trucks coming down the new-vehicle pipeline. This is the first we’ve heard of a possible high-performance Ranger Raptor pickup. It’s tough to get an eye for any styling cues from the heavily disguised mules in the photos, but it’s interesting to see that Ford’s seriously considering a stablemate to the popular F-150 Raptor.

You can read more about this Raptor mule in this SEMA report.
