A parking lot is a parking lot is a parking lot—unless it’s the Summit Racing parking lot. On any given day or time, the lot outside a Summit Racing store can turn into an impromptu mini car show, depending on who’s stopped by the store. On Wednesdays, we’ll share our parking lot find of the week—another benefit of being Powered by Summit Racing Equipment.

The second-generation of the Chevy Corvette (formally dubbed the C2) is the oft-cited favorite Corvette generation among Vette enthusiasts.

Maybe because the 1963 split-window is so incredibly rad, or maybe because it’s the first time America’s favorite performance car introduced big-block muscle to the equation.

Chevy dropped a 427-cubic-inch, 450-horsepower big-block V8 into the 1966, and we’ve been thanking them ever since.

We spotted this pretty 1967 Corvette outside the Summit Racing retail store in Ohio a while back and we’re pleased to share it now. 1967 was the final model year of the venerable C2 generation, and we’re always happy to see one, especially one as well kept as this.

See for yourself.
